Responsibility :
A key characteristic of Rise Up is to act responsibility towards the environment and peoples of Nicaragua. To meet this goal we support and have a personal involvement in various sustainable projects. These include forest conservation on the Caribbean coast, environmental education in coastal communities and in and around the city of Leon. As this is our first year of official operation we so far have limited funding but with the help of your participation in our tours we will be able to continue
The Rise Up surf tour is a part of Green Pathways Tours and thus we adhere to our sustainable travel policy. We have also created our own responsible travel guidebook, which is available here.
